With different experiences the intense investigation of the tango universe led Angelo Grasso and Carina Morrudo to gain styles and forms of the tango from its origins as a folk dance until the typical evolution of new solutions merging in a unique way tradition and novelty. All this has led them to develop a solid and creative dance in the continuous search of body and music

Carina Morrudo

Studied tango with the masters Carlos Rivarola, Roberto Herrera and Vanina, Richy Barrios, Nito and Elba, Alberto Villarrasa, Rodolfo Dinzel. She danced in the best tango-houses of Buenos Aires (including the famous "Piazzolla" where was the first dancer, as well as Casa Blanca, La Ventana, Homero Manzi, Michelangelo) and performs with the principal Argentinean orchestras (Mariano Mores, Sexteto Mayor Los Reyes del Tango).
She was part of the leading international companies of Tango Argentino: Copes Tango Copes di Juan Carlo Copess; Forever Tango with Carlos Gavito and Oscar Mandagaran; Tango Bizarro with Joe Corbata; Tango DosPorQuatro with Marcelo Valentin Cruz. With the Miguel Angel Zotto Company Tango X Dos debuted at the New York City Center on Broadway in January 2007 ("The New York Times” wrote: In the first act Mr. Zotto, a compact dancer with feet so agile they seem disconnected from his body, performs a sensual, slow tango with Carina Morrudo)

Meets the tango in 1997 and since then there are many teachers that contribute to his tango development: Vicky Arenillas, Margarita Klurfan, Walter Cardozo, Erica Boaglio, Adrian Aragon, Roberto Reis, Lucila Cionco, Gustavo Rosas, Gisela Natoli, Javier Antar, Maria Trubba.
In March 1999 followed in-depth classes in Buenos Aires with masters as Tete and Silvia, Rodolfo and Maria Cieri, Osvaldo Zotto and Lorena Ermocida.  Since then he begins to attend the biggest Tango World festival (Madrid, Hamburg, Paris, San Francisco, Tokyo ...) where he attended workshops with the best teachers from the international scene such as Gustavo Naveira, Armando Orzuza, Mora Godoy, Gustavo Russo, Alejandra Mantinan, Natalia Games Gabriel Angio, Pablo Ojeda Beatriz Romero, Claudia Codega, Esteban Moreno, etc.
Since 2000, become his teachers reference Luis Castro and Claudia Mendoza, famous dancers of the company "Forever Tango" (seven years of performances around the world including twelve months of Broadway). The regular meetings with teachers of that caliber contribute to its artistic and professional growth and help him to complete is tango development that is now characterized by a clean and elegant style.

With the Association CaminitoTangoCatania organizes since August 2001 (this year marks the tenth edition) the CataniaTangoFestival, the Sicily Tango Festival with some of the most important international tango dancers and teachers. The event receives each year a huge critical and commercial success (tango dancers come to Catania from all over Italy and from countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Japan, Russia, United States, Canada, Chile ...).
