Lucila Cionci e Rodrigo "Joe" Corbata

Lucila Cionci and Rodrigo "Joe" Corbata founded in 2007, "Formula Tango", the union of years of experience in individual events and festivals.

Surprising is the great plasticity and expressiveness of their dance that presents innovative choreographic elements; this led them to participate to the major Tango Festivals in the world. Japan, Italy, France, Switzerland, Portugal, United Arab Emirates, Korea, South Africa, Russia, USA are the World contries wheree Joe and Lucila showed an original philosophy of teaching getting excellent response from students at all levels.

Courses can be taught in Spanish, Italian, French and English. They are also part of the teaching staff Cosmotango (CITA), the most important annual festival in Buenos Aires.

They participated in the performances: Tango Vivo and Nuit Blanche by the Tanguera Union Company under the direction by Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega, Corazon a Corazon by the Company Zaraza Tango under the direction of Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, Romance de Tango by the Fast Tango Company as co-artistic director with Marcela Guevara and Stefano Giudice, and by October of this year they will join the cast of the famous show Otango under the direction of Adrian Veredice and Alejandra Hobert.

They were also invited to run the show Four Seasons for Art-en-Ciel, Lausanne, Switzerland 2011.

For three years they were members of the International Jury of the International Championship of Tango Argentino organized by the city government of Buenos Aires.

Among the individual experiences: the participation of Lucila to the Carmen in 2008 at the National Opera in London under the direction of the Oscar Winner Sally Potter and the “Joe”’s direction for four years, of the Company Tango Bizzarro that produced performances in Asia, South America and South Africa.
